Job Description:
As a Gardener, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients’ estates look stunning. You will go the extra mile to meet high standards and adhere to health and safety regulations. Your dedication, integrity, and deep pride in your work will be evident in everything you do.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform gardening tasks to maintain and enhance the beauty of clients’ estates.
- Utilize machinery such as strimmers, mowers, and chainsaws to complete tasks efficiently.
- Ensure the highest standards of garden maintenance.
- Comply with health and safety regulations.
Skills and Experience Required:
As a professional Gardener, you should possess the following skills and experience:
- Proven skills in creating superb gardens and maintaining them.
- Proficiency in operating machinery, including strimmers, mowers, and chainsaws.
- Natural gardening talent and passion.
- Relevant qualifications such as Handheld Spraying (PA1 Foundation and PA6), Chainsaw maintenance/Crosscutting, or City & Guilds NVQ in Amenity Horticulture (or equivalent) would be advantageous.
Working Hours:
- Minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Hours: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
- Weekend shifts during the summer, so flexibility is essential.
- Overtime is paid at time and a half.
